configure: denied
access admin interface: allowed
create: inherited (allowed)
delete: inherited (allowed)
edit: inherited (allowed)
edit state: inherited (allowed)
this user group allowed edit of members in user manager.
as articles, want them edit articles under category have created called 'members' , not of other categories have created.
when log out test this, mem admin has access edit of articles in categories.

how can make more specific?
- set new user group's privileges original settings.
- set parent of new user group 'registered'.
- in access/view level registered , special make sure new user group allowed.
- in global configuration set following 'allowed' new user group
- site login
admin login
all rest should 'inherited'(which should default deny) - in content >>> article manager >>> options ... permisions tab ... set access administration interface 'allowed' new user group. rest should 'inherited'(which should default deny)
- then either in each category or each article permissions 'allow' new user group.
this structure comes play. if have structured categories , articles correctly ... need set permissions in categories apply. other wise need individual articles.
