Joomla 2.5 Installation - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

right apologies asking question has been posted somewhere many times before clue in title of user name bit stupid! new administering joomla can figure stuff out ok.

i have created site using joomla 2.5 initally locally using xampp , cpanel. process worked treat , got first site sctratch created tweaked. created site called http://www.valduga.co.uk/joomla16. managed migrate files suggested local file of "joomla16" public html folder of site creating using filezilla seem display lovely on http://www.valduga.co.uk main live site. nice , simple no probs etc.

my issue can keep on creating site joomla end , download site files local pc , re-upload them website in question. want change joomla administrator uploads live website , not staging site.

any clues. tips welcome hoping few times various sites friends , family.

i'd recommend using akeeba backup backup local website (at xampp server), , restore on server,

the "kickstart" installation file notice it's new location, , let enter database credentials (db name, username & password) of new server.
