Thread: .exe files icon (gnome-exe-thumbnailer does not work)

the first time installed wine, remember .exe files having nice wine logos windows installer logo along version number icons. there old purple diamond couple of cogs inside.
gnome-exe-thumbnailer installed. doesn't change anything. here's fun part: in microsoft office installation disc, launcher.exe have wine glass + office icon + version number icon. nothing on hard disk does.
please help. thank much!

edit: have external drive windows files on it. when mounted can see some of .exe , .dll have such nice wine glass + version number icons... of them.

try

code:

rm ~/.thumbnail/fail/gnome-thumbnail-factory/*

then hit f5 reload... or ctrl r.
