Thread: Trouble with gtkpod compiled and installed from source

hi, compiled gtkpod 2.0.1 source, , thought went hunky-dory (my first attempt @ compiling). after installation, when launch program error:

code:

/usr/local/bin/gtkpod: error while loading shared libraries: libgtkpod.so.1: cannot open shared object file: no such file or directory

when browse /usr/local/lib, can see libgtkpod.so.1, link pointing libgtkpod.so.1.0.0

don't know enough know do. did have gtkpod 1.0 intstalled ubuntu repositories, did uninstall before compiling 2.0.1. perhaps didn't uninstall correctly?
