Thread: DHCP Server Installation-

ive tried on multiple occasions setup dhcp server, google searches return legitimate results seems, , ill set up, except last few instructions have configure /etc/dhcp3/dhcpd.conf , /etc/default/dhcp3-server, ubuntu says not there. know whats wrong? im running ubuntu server 11.04 , using nano edit files

the first question "did install dhcp3-server?" install, either command below:

sudo aptitude install dhcp3-server  or  sudo apt-get install dhcp3-server

once complete. run following commands find files need:

code:

sudo updatedb  locate "dhcpd.conf" "dhcp3-server"
