Site not quite right viewing with Internet Explorer - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

hey all-

we building site using joomla template yootheme (nano2).

everything looks when viewing google chrome , firefox when switch ie site becomes elongated , 1 of widgets gets kicked on left of page.

does have ideas fix?

ie notorious tripping people regards html , css compatibility. 1 thing on track make sure code pretty strict. validate site using w3c's markup validator here: http://validator.w3.org/ , fix errors finds. should sort html out if that's what's causing problem.

for css, don't tend use css validator because throws errors browser specific properties , gets annoying. css issue, without looking @ problem it's hard determine issue lies.
