¿Possible to peg picture to text on opposite page, and still have text flow?

pardon clumsy question, it's complicated situation, i'll explain.

 

i have text story, , need insert rather large picture after line of introductory text. want place picture on page following introductory text (creating "see diagram on following page" situation).  should add/delete lot of text story (i have work in progress), picture page follow page contains line of introductory text. possible?

 

(if place picture in-line, below introductory text, it's necessary size pushes next page, 1/2 blank page following introductory text.)
