InDesign CS5 Crashes with Warning Dialog Box

hello,

 

facts:

 

indesign cs5, v7.0.4

os x 10.7.4

no third-party font-management application running.

macbook pro (june, 2012)

 

indesign crashes in these 2 instances:

 

1. trying delete page has content. right warning box comes up, shows without content (just "warning" title) , crashes.

 

2. when packaging file, it's warn perils of archiving fonts same thing above, , crashes.

 

tried alt-opt-cmd-shift trick reboot preferences , nothing.

tried deleting 2 preference files directly rebuild , nothing.

 

interestingly, have computer running os 10.7.3 (as opposed 10.7.4 on crashy one) , same indesign cs5 7.0.4 , 1 works perfectly.

 

ideas? leads?

same issue indesign cs 5.5 version 7.5.3. mac osx version 10.7.4. macbook pro 13in mid 2012. no such issues on previous macbook pro (mid 2009) or imac. somehow connected new macbook pro? tried removing folders/files user librar area. did not help. uninstalled , reinstalled indesign. did not help.

 

please help.
