Editing Module Width & Custom HTML Error - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

so watched joomla tutorials , made custom modules. messing around testing various things. have added video module. , advertising banner other custom html module.

is there way make ad banner module wont expand half page?


and when create html stuff. when click view module code side , past html code, , save it. module works. when got click , edit, code disappears , can't edit , module instantly stops working.
