A simple Photoshop Scripting solution.

i'm trying repetitive simple in photoshop cs6, i've tried record task in actions doesn't work. i've turned photoshop scripting. trying make line of brushstroke marks seperated 6 pixels. want line consist of 400 marks. can provide code can execute this? prefer javascript since familiar it.

 

p.s. know rude have other people work, javascript photoshop reference long, , i'll never need use photoshop scripting again. think there simple solution though.

i wouldn’t through scripting. instead, adjust "spacing" property of brush settings each mark 6 pixels apart. there 2 ways make marks: either click @ beginning , shift-click @ end of desired line, or else create line using pen tool, , use "stroke path" make marks along it.
