i wanted show lubuntu-11.04 using live option
have forgotten 'incantation' boot process to
continue graphical desktop.
stops @ console 'ubuntu@ubuntu' prompt.
had found 'login expression' somewhere can't find it
more.
can help.

you try startx after logging in ubuntu@ubuntu, if gui not start automatically, suspect not right either .iso file used, or cd/usb burned, or there hardware incompatibility of sort.
give try, if still not work check md5sum of .iso file (76e5865ce8d0d08fa9f833d781016fe3) , if ok burn again slow possible.
