Finding the right HEX colour for a Pantone

i'm trying match hex colour pantone 369c. i've set colour model in bridge europe web/interent 2. every time convert colour pantone rgb colour way bright. i'm not after exact colour match, more looks better on screen.

if start in ai pantone swatch convert rgb looks good.

if open ai document in ps looks good.

if select pantone swatch in ps colour picker looks wrong.

converting pantone rgb gets: 116, 175, 38 > #74af26  looks wrong in dw

i'm using srgb colour space [as defined br settings] , i'm exporting web without colour management. colour conversion in both ps , ai work out same, 1 or 2 shades different, not radical change when selecting swatch in ps

so question is, failing tweeking colour breakdown myself, there way can right hex colour match see in ai? see attached image example.

thanks in advance.

david,

please compare values ?rgb = 116 / 175 / 38 369c:

http://www.fho-emden.de/~hoffmann/swatch16032005.pdf

lab:    60.5 / -44.2 / 60.4

srgb: 80 / 164 / 0

argb: 112 / 163 / 38   argb=adobergb(1998)

photoshop cs2:

lab:    61 / -45 / 61

srgb: 79 / 166 / 0

argb: 112 / 164 / 38

your rgb values nearer argb (but still different), ,

it's highly doubtful why these should expressed hex-numbers,

because hex used in html. cannot expected that

browsers interprete these numbers correctly.

considering same appearance in different applications:

this requires

a) calibrated monitor

b) correct color space settings

c) applications use color management (like adobe cs#)

finally 1 can observe srgb values contain b=0.

this indicates, lab values cannot converted srgb

without clipping.
