Thread: problem with pdf reader app instalation

hello.
have started today ubuntu. installed "run on windows" version. i'm having problems install pdf reader. have tried:
sudo apt-get install kpdf
sudo apt-get install acroread
in both cases returns "impossible find packet".
since 2 famous pdf reader, , did not default 1 came ubuntu, how install better one?
