Thread: boot problem Xubuntu 11.04

hi,

i'm having trouble putting work xubuntu on acer travelmate 290 (512mb ram, 100gb disk).

have installed without problem, in 60gb ext2 partition made during installation process.

when boot computer seems letters appear blurred. if try enter grub menu , boot in recovery mode, get:

text seems blurred.
curiously though, after trying boot in recovery mode , turning off pc, able reboot it, choose linux in grub menu , works!


suggestion make work out? can problem of graphic processor or screen drivers??

as long trying boot grub installed natty getting same thing. believe characters printed in graphics mode making them unintelligible. in case fixed reinstalling grub mint install on same unit! believe bug haven't got around reporting it.
