i n desktop screen of kubuntu, , right clicked file. meant click "file properties," accidentally clicked button made "desktop
folder" dissapear.

that's folder view widget!

right-click desktop , choose add widgets. unlock widgets first if have them locked. find folder view in list, either scrolling, entering 'folder' in search field, or picking file system category.

once find it, double-click , should added desktop.
