we bought upgrades our entire department dreamweaver cs6 2 weeks ago. today first time i've been trying make use of new fluid grid layout system. got of page put , when tried insert new fluid layout div got error message saying "could not find dreamweaver fluid grid style sheet". wasn't sure make of googled it. found similar, not exact, error message , suggested double check css file see if missing closing }. double checked css files , fine. tried reinstalling dreamweaver in case file got corrupted. no go. after reopening file, fluid grid pink overlays won't display.
it's though stylesheet fluid grid styles defined isn't being recognized, @ same time, styles defined in stylesheet being applied page, not of them.
i called adobe support, sat on hold forever told because purchased downloaded version of upgrade, don't 90 days of support have pay $39. kidding me adobe? no support without paying after paid literally thousands of dollars in upgrades our cs6 packages?
another thing that's odd if start new fluid page , save files in new folder, insert new fluid grid div works fine. know sounds stylesheet got hosed, said, have double , triple checked css file , don't see problem. have idea might wrong? thanks.
i found problem , in fact problem stylesheet. however, wasn't due invalid styles. apparently there comments near top of stylesheet tell dreamweaver that's stylesheet fluid grid content stored. have been helpful if included additional comments "don't remove these comments or your're screwed , won't figure out why!!!". section removed caused break this...
