Unable to get area list, access projects

i'm running robohelp server 9 , have 2 issues related.

 

first, when attempt publish webhelp pro robohelp, unable select area in ssl dialog. receive message stating, "unable area list server." opened robohelp server web administrator , verified areas listed.

 

second, when go server , open robohelp server web administrator , select projects, receive message stating, "communication error. server refreshing project data. try reloading projects pane in little while."

 

i @ complete loss. here things or department have tried fix issue. none of these have worked:

• change "reindex" property in robohelp_server.properties file
• increase permspace available tomcat:
  

  • run tomcat-install-dir>/bin/tomcat6w.exe file open apache tomcat properties dialog box.

  • verify maximum memory pool setting not blank. if blank, specify value, such 512 mb. make sure maximum memory pool , xx:maxpermsize values don't add more actual memory can make available tomcat.

  • restart tomcat.

  • wait 5 – 10 minutes after publish project make sure data structure loaded.

• rebooted server
• removed recent updates adobe , windows.
• tried using firefox browser

the step puzzles me "removed recent updates adobe , windows". expan on adobe updates were? reason ask in experience application set-up (e.g. tomcat + rhs) not react removing things. may have been ok removing updates have install applications in precise order, removing updates have messed communication between them.

 

you seem have gone through steps advise in situation. try connecting database using. if respond useful have further information physical server , database configuration using.
