i not coder , have used dw in past create relatively simple websites. have client needs horizontal nav bar 1 of buttons prompting drop-down menu. first tried using dm8 , discovered drop down menu behavior feature doesn't work in template. upgraded dw cs5. started work spry menu bar feature , learning how change font color, background color, hover color, add menu items, etc.... noticed whenever tried inserted new spry menu bar had attributes of recent menu bar created.
after working css menu noticed there seemed division in each menu bar cell -- small rectangular shape couldn't highlight affect how bar looked in browser. looked cell divisions in table. bar horizontal text centered ltor , top bottom, there more space @ bottom of menu bar due added "bar". when inserted new spry menu barely see it. menu, included default 4 fields/ buttoms literally 1" wide on screen. tried keying in new pixel width , nothing until got 900px.
to make long story short, spry feature screwed up. there preference can trash @ least re-set how before somehow screwed up?
any tips great.
