How to remove "edit article" on front page - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

hi,

i have assembled website using ol karinpi template joomla 2.5.

my problems are:

1) unable remove "edit article" icon on frontpage , accessible normal users supposedly can accessed administrator.

2) using aicontactsafe contact page captcha function not visible/working.

change permission of user in usermanager, give read permission desired user or public.
