Thread: How can I get a desktop back

i foolishly followed advice on how return computer old 10.10 desktop removing unity. have no desktop no way of running programs , no way of getting dreadful unity back.

cannot full install ubuntu run wubi , have lost windows login password. on long term loan can't format disk.

can please?

use computer listen radio when in bed. old 10.10 worked , automatically opened browser , pigeon messenger when logged on.

new 11.04 not , worse crashes @ least once every night wakes me up! hate suppose better nothing.

used big supporter of ubuntu not recommend 11.04 anyone.

i fixed own problem

right clicked create folder on desktop

selected new folder , right clicked.

selected ubuntu software center open with

unity

hooray computer buggy , awkward use suppose better unusable.

won't use every night keeps waking me when freezes. update regularly in hope sanity prevail , crappy unity gets binned!
