i new linux scene, wanted give try. installed 9.10 on usb external drive. prior doing changed drive fat32 ntfs, mounted , partitioned. after installing on reboot came on screen. grub loading, no such disk. grub rescue. spent considerable amount of time reading forum info understand caused , how solve it. appreciate if can give me step step walk through on resolving this. thanx.

hi, start if installed 9.10 old should go @ least 10.04 or 10.10. second need create partition ubuntu ext3 or ext4. going give guide help.posted tonyaz
