Lost all changes made to a script

i day before start filming on set , director signed in make tweaks script. worked 2-3 hours making changes.

he asked me review them never see changes making though kept saving it. went shut down story , has lost everything.

is there anyway changes back? furious since lost of dialogue changes wanted actors.
