i have panasonic let's note laptop cracked (indecipherable working) monitor. have 15' lcd samsung monitor attached via vga port. slicked drive , installed ubuntu 11.04. works if boot off cd or if hold shift , boot in safe graphics mode. suppose it's graphics card, xp worked fine. displays panel shows 'unknown' in pic.
holding down shift nothing.
want reliable boots , stable system. can please config display? third post.
