Thread: VERY slow internet connection EVEN after disabling IPv6 Ubuntu 11.04

hello,

installed ubuntu yesterday on desktop. noticed global internet connection slow (browsing,downloading apt-get, etc). followed guides disable ipv6 didn't help. don't know what's wrong, maybe it's drivers? please help!!!

i'm having similar problem....but net speed ok while browsing slow on downloading...i disabled ipv6 no luck....i tried update wireless driver couldnot i'm noob....

there way update wlan driver thru terminal command line...

wlan device

ralink corp. rt3090 wireless 802.11n 1t/1r pcie [1814:3090]
