running new 11.04 on dell inspiron laptop windows 7.
when choose use ubuntu, takes long time login screen show, type in credentials , following see destop wallpaper nothing happens after that.
rebooted ubuntu sfae reboot , chose fix / repair missing files. told me not connect internet , nothing changed. rebooted normal mode got same sequence of events before safe reboot...
have no idea next...
can please help?

sorry herar having issues. can press "alt + f2" run dialogue appear? if type "unity --reset" , see if helps.
