Thread: $VAR autocomplete doesn't work, unless you give its whole name

export in ~/.bashrc

echo $env works fine,

autocomplete never worked general /bin commands, example: vi, ls, cp ... unless finish typing whole name, directory path, expand.

not automatically expand $home, design. or if can turned somewhere,
