2 custom modules not showing on home page. have been working on upgrade 1.5-2.5. have followed directions template in multiple sources , changed template details file, index.php , css.
they in xml file , index.php, still not showing. did ?tp=1 test , not showing. checked parameters in module , compared them ones showing. settings same,
what cause them not display?

by default 'tp=1' disabled unless otherwise, if go 'template manager' -> 'options' , set 'preview module positions' 'enabled'.
regarding module, assigned show on homepage or pages?, module 'published'?
