i've been trying deal screen tearing while now. it's through hdmi output tv. i'm recent refugee windows 7, , never experienced problem when using hdmi output there. i've tried whatever solutions find online. no change.
i'm using msi laptop nvidia geforce 8200m g video card, using ubuntu 11.04.
i've been banging head against wall past couple of days trying fix problem. can appreciated.
