Version info is not updating - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

i upgraded joomla 2.5 version 1.6. when go admin site works should, getting warnings upgrade site website host google.

they saying following file shows wrong info.
/libraries/joomla/version.php

the following identifying info removed in file.

.../libraries/joomla/version.php: /** @public int main release level */
.../libraries/joomla/version.php- public $release = '1.6';
.../libraries/joomla/version.php- /** @public string development status */
.../libraries/joomla/version.php- public $dev_status = 'stable';
.../libraries/joomla/version.php- /** @public int sub release level */
.../libraries/joomla/version.php- public $dev_level = '3';

any suggestions on how fix this?

locate file in new download of joomla full stable , upload same location on host server overwrite existing. (assuming of course have indeed updated server)
