New hacking attack realized??? "Powered by Web Agency" - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

hi, all.

i doing work on client's site today , noticed odd div tags popping up. turns out they're popping site-wide , many times per page:
<div style="display:none;">powered <a href="http://www.e-max.it" title="web agency" target="_blank">web agency</a></div>

i've searched google , can't find posting yet. however, if search 'web agency' find many other joomla 1.5 , 1.7 sites has happened to. divs altered, point same site , have 'web agency' text in them.

i want raise awareness of since tons of other sites apparently have going on well. far don't know why happening , find no legit plugins doing either.

((note: i'm using proprietary version of joomla 1.5.11 in case (newer sites of mine 1.5.23) . yes, know it's old- yaddah yaddah - since it's happening 1.7 sites apparently security hole wasn't patched in later versions either. proprietary version has had pretty features , latest 2.5 today start, why find no reason upgrade, please, no suggestions upgrading , that. i'm needing info/suggestions on particular issue - thank you.))

well stupid. ended being plugin installed e-max.it site - unfortunately looks bad since scatter code on every single page, many times. not cool @ all. looks hacking job when @ code, , didn't want @ e-max site until had security in place in browser.
