hello,
i built 2 websites (one on 2.5 , 1 on 1.7) on hostgator hosting account. each website later moved own hosting account elsewhere, building accounts on ip address on server (for instance, http://55.55.55.55/~clientname).
i moved 2.5 site files , database on client's existing godaddy hosting account. seemed working fine until turned on firefox's error console. in it, discovered following error message:
this seems affect submit button on contact form, not allowing clicked , not sending form content client.
i launched duplicate of 2.5 site on client's godaddy site. duplicate has exact same structure , modules in place; difference changed of content items match second site's theme, , changed graphics , css. site not experience jquery issue , contact forms on work fine.
today, launched 1.7 site on existing hosting platform (not sure company is; had existing host/webmaster wanted continue use). receiving same exact error message jquery not defined, , same issue occurs contact form (which, incidentally, built breezingforms).
any ideas on how fix these issues?

just go k2 settings , enable jquery there. k2 requires jquery , error inidicates isn't being loaded.
