Joomla 2.5 - Author - cannot create new articles - front end - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

ok, [thanks in advance read willingness help]

here simple question. want users (a few) able submit articles front end, here did.

1. created new user in author group
2.created new menu "submit" item (create articles layout) access level set special author can see it

then log in front end author , hit submit page , redirects me home saying "you not allowed add new records"

any arrow in right direction appreciated.

i should image down user settings. see if works super admin login. because sounds me telling you not allowed add article user group.
