CS6 imports file at incorrect frame rate

hi all,

exported recordings screenflow , using premiere pro cs6 edit them.

we have 2 screen captures screenflow made on same day. exported both same settings .mov files.

part-1.mov imports correctly @ 25 fps.

part-2.mov imports incorrectly @ 2.5 fps. ???

we tried following without remedy:

- restarting premiere pro

- re-exporting part-2 in screenflow

- opening exported file in quicktime , export again using quicktime, quicktime sees frame rate correctly

still no luck. we're stuck.

part-2 choppier in premiere in screenflow. visibly dropping frames.

to add more frustration, premiere imports file correct duration, 1:03:31. if mess around frame rate in clip > modify > interpret footage..., speeds clip , has wrong duration.

does know what's happening? there way modify frame rate of clip without affecting duration?

thanks,

paula
