had come ask advice here since audacity forums slow hell , maybe techies amongst may able me out.
first of all, have i'm disappointed approach releases, when hasn't been tested public pushed out without proper documentary on how troubleshoot issue. talking beta versions of audacity, shouldn't have seen daylight before going through number of tests.
experienced following:
using linux mint 10 x64 bit , 1.3.12-7 beta version of audacity can't literally anything. when try import file using file > open nothing happens, audacity hangs , that's it, doesn't react closing, option use terminal > xkill rid of pesky window. don't error message.
don't know compiling stuff, tried according manuals got error. post link latest working stable release (1.2.6) .deb file easy installation on maverick-based systems?
