Existing video files won't import into Lightroom 4.1

i have several hundred videos have taken, either canon sd800, canon s95, canon t2i or gopro.

 

new videos take on equipment works fine when adding lightroom. when try import older files, error: video file not imported quantity in parenthesis.

 

i have tried purging video cache, have tried task manager - disabling dynamiclinkmanager , dynamiclinkmediaserver. able import 1 or 2 videos after doing hangs again.

 

running win7, lr4.1.

 

i don't have else , running when this.

 

any ideas? frustrating me want catalog complete.

not sure if part of issue files on nas device.
