basic repositioning script

hi all

 

i need write assume simple script.

 

i have document number of layers same size. need space them apart set amount. proficient @ scripting after effects having had through photoshop scripting guide i'm finding quiet hard work out how reposition layer specified position.

 

any advice appreciated.

one way make selection want move layer to. tarket layer , use align layer selection twice, once horizontal  position relative selection , second vertical position.
