i created new article "startseite" , assigned menue entry "home" start page. defined article "startseite" "featured" can see screenshots below, article not appear. "home" menue entry defined home star. idea?

the default menu item marked star. article show on front page in 2 conditions:
1. if default menu shows featured articles , article marked featured.
2.if default menu shows single article , choose article list of articles on shown on basic configuration of menu.
from first image have attached, looks home page set display single article. make sure new article displayed on front page, go menu manager , click on home , on right side of menu setting, make sure new article selected in drop down box.
