Thread: Installing grub menu


gooday all. downloaded latest ubuntu. fired , went through normal installation procedure. after restarting not offered option of getting ubuntu. have 2 drives. 1 has win7 , second drive thought when installing,has mint , gave mint , ubuntu equal amt of disk.my question can use update grub command live disk. if not next step. thanks.

go bios , set second drive linux boot first in order , while in ubuntu a.
sudo update-grub
, put operating systems in menuentrys , in config file:
#when boot first drive windows windows because booting windows boot manager.
#when boot linux drive have grub2 boot manager , choice boot into.
