Thread: Any reason to keep Zeitgeist?

hi, don't know zeitgeist, can find searching online, looks 1 of programs google desktop search runs, indexing files , keeping track of history.

try stay away programs this. use "find" find files , terminal run programs , of work. once in while need go firefox's history find something, firefox handles that. after couple weeks of trying unity, disliked crashes/unresponsive windows , went ubuntu classic, don't need unity's "recent files" thing. ubuntu one's web interface , google docs closest ever come cloud computing; don't takes resources update itself, other little weather applet.

want computer things asking do, , little possible. after every ubuntu upgrade habitually delete don't use (evolution, ubuntu one, bluetooth, , couchdb among others.) should add zeitgeist delete list?

is thing time time tells me "suspending desktop indexing save resources"? puzzled one, far remember had not told index anything.

if that's 1 i'll delete also, please tell me how when it. i'm not worried resources clear desktop, hate having little uncalled messages popping , then, drawing attention - seem unable stop myself reading them - , distracting me i'm doing.
