Thread: Would like quick help for what to do with GRUB

i have win7 , ubuntu dual-booting , upgrade 11.04, i'm confused should do.
there's list of options, supposed select under circumstances?

• install package maintainer's version
  keep local version installed
  3-way difference between available versions
  start new shell examine situation

if have made changes old grub menu may best keep local version installed (otherwise may lose changes).
