udev-notify simple free software app ubuntu runs in background , shows visual notifications when plug-in new device - camera, joystick, removable drive, media player etc... uses udev monitoring hardware changes, , notifyosd, notification-daemon, xfce4-notifyd or knotify (whichever have installed) notifications.

usage:
place in startup programs start ubuntu.
