Thread: Here is why I am afraid to try installing 11.04 on my MBP 5,1

i have been running ubuntu 9.04 happily on mbp 5,1 since got @ beginning of 2009. now, support has expired-- still works great. feel should update 11.04 again have supported version, when run google search on "install 11.04 on mbp", see horror stories. here below of ones appear on first google search page. if has howto or has got success installing 11.04 on mbp, please let me know. perhaps give me inspiration try.
