Thread: Empathy doesn't connect to facebook and gives a Network error message?

i tried system test.in test stage when testing empathy came clicked test button , empathy interface opened on desktop.i entered facebook(fb) username , password.but not connect fb chat, gives network error message.

1. when same password , username entered in browser logged fb , chat working fine.
2. when empathy closed clicking cross @ left corner of empathy interface testing interface still displaying busy window slice text "running applications-empathy-empathy_chat , system testing interface doesn't become active

remedy?
wrong?

same probl. on ubuntu 11.04
