Placing Banner Ad in Joomla.org - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

hi all,
there possibility placing banner ads in joomla.org website. 1 of leading joomla service provider , in plan of releasing services, books. thinking of advertising here. there option place ads directly here without intervening google adwords.

afaik there no possibility of placing banner on joomla.org, relies on google adsense.
