How does convert document to working cmyk after adjusting in profile mismatch dialog box?

when there`s profile or policy mismatch dialog box here, there`s option adjust document match current colour settings.but when assign profile doesn`t match working space, the check box of "convert document working cmyk after adjusting"can choose.

but question come out, when check box,i find profile auto turn working cmyk profile, there`s nothing assigned profile chosen.

so when choose option?why not directly choose working cmyk profile?

some more questions.about "placed content"option,i`m not quite catch meaning of options.such "keep existing assignments"."disable profiles"."enable profiles".can answer me?

when make new document current color settings used determine whether document rgb and/or cmyk profiles assigned , how handle future conflicts.

if cmyk color management policy set off when document created, no profile assigned , time document opened current color settings cmyk working space used manage cmyk colors' display or conversion color space. if document has assigned profile color settings' working space ignored.

your screen capture shows document being opened created cmyk policy set off , current policy preserve embedded profiles. if click adjust... policy no longer off , profile choose assigned document—that profile used (not current working space) whenever document opened.

placed files can have embedded profiles , id lets choose whether honor profiles or ignore them , use document's profile instead. cmyk policy of off or preserve numbers (ignore embedded profiles) ignores placed content profiles.
