Contacts list not sorting on initial load.. - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

using core contact list provided joomla..

i have menu option display featured contacts (which contacts).
in contacts global configuration check option have list sorted name, when displays, it's in order entered db, not sorted @ all.

if click on column heading "name", sort correctly.

how display in sorted name order?

make sure in menu link param option set @ global
if set may want see param in xml file search in contact component use
echo $name_param_you_have_find .'<br />';
