i'm using id cs6 create epubs. when try export other usual times new roman, or other basic fonts, fonts don't show in exported epub.
for instance, i've tried using minion pro, warnock, lucida, etc. , @ other end either bizarre substitution, or times new roman.
every paragraph , character in id docs assigned paragragh or character style, includes export tagging, , class. i've had people on forum boards tell me i'm foolish assigning classes, how else supposed distinguish between 2 h2 styles different attributes?
rather place text word, i've noticed imports host of other problems on export, copy text simple text editing program, make plain text, copy , paste id, apply styles format. embed fonts checkbox checked when exporting.
what missing? qualifies embeddable font? should mention viewing epub in ade. problem?
update: noticed none of character styles i've tagged span coming through either. em , strong character styles work, nothing tagged span styled in epub. tried applying styling characters without creating style , doesn't work. instance, small caps come through small caps.
what export settings? viewing epub? have cracked open see if there fonts folder? css show proper font.
finally, nothing wrong class if has purpose. main body text can use p tag without class. if first paragraph after h2 has special format can use h2+p create stylinging in css. of course, assumes knowledge of css , willingness crack open epub work on it.
