Set default number of articles - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

hey all,
i have problem, i'm doing job 1 man in joomla website. in attached picture can se "title filter" , "display # 20". wants remove "display # 20" , found way (i went to: public_html/components/com_content/views/category/tmpl , found code in default_item.php comented) can't find way how set dispay articles default. want show articles default (not 20) , remove "display # 20"

go menu item -> parameters (basic) -> # links: 10 (display 10 items, article title per page)

go menu item -> parameters (advanced) -> display select: hide (hide "display # 20")
