i using cs6 trial on windows 7, can more specs later can't remember else operating system (on different computer @ moment).
i have noticed when using levels adjustment layer, drop-down choose different channels (red, green, blue) grayed out, , cannot click on choose different colors. numbers in input & output boxes grayed out , cannot type in them.
the time have noticed happening directly after cropping image. , when go work on different image , add levels adjustment layer it, things still grayed out. have restart program work again.
if add curves layer, nothing grayed out, works fine; it's levels.
i frustrated this, , there seems no reason , haven't seen else problem. i'll post screenshots later if help.
a screenshot might help, tried adding levels adjustment layer several different images , unable reproduce problem. in every case, able select color channels.
the question whether it's bug that's happening on particular system, or whether you've done inadvertent makes adjustment of color channels impossible. can't think of might be.
