Importing DWG or DXF Files into AI

i trying import dielines either dwg or dxf files illustrator can add artwork , send vendor. can me out on how import them? tried importing them eps files, scaled down 8.5" x 11" piece of paper. need these dielines keep actual size. appreciated.

try making .pdf autocad, , opening in illustrator. 227.54" largest page size in illustrator, long don't go on shoudl good.
